DONALD MILNE
Donald has worked on a variety of projects in Production and Post Production in Film and Television.
Starting in Post as an Assistant Editor for several Roger
Corman films, Donald moved on to become an AE/Online Editor on a
number of Animated TV shows at Sony Animation, such as The
Jackie Chan Adventures and Roughnecks: The Starship Trooper
Chronicles.
Having an interest in visual effects, Donald worked as a visual effects assistant on the Andre Morgan (Walker Texas Ranger, Canonball Run) produced TV series called Flatland, a martial arts/science fiction TV series starring Dennis Hopper that was shot and edited in Shanghai, China, where Donald lived during Post-Production.
Working as an Editor, he has edited such
films as Toronto Film Festival official selection Bubba
Ho-Tep, and Sundance Film Festival official selection John
Dies At The End, along with TV shows Rockstar:INXS, UFC:
Ultimate Knockouts 5, and Street Outlaws as a Web Editor.
He studied at The University of Southern California and
received a Bachelor of Arts in English, and interned at Orion
Pictures for Producer Robert Baer in his senior year. For his
graduate studies, Donald received a Master of Science in
Technology in Graphic Information Technology at the Fulton School of Engineering at Arizona
State University.
While editing John Dies at the End, Donald shot a behind the scenes short, called John Dies in the Edit, which is soon to be released on the latest JDATE DVD.
